I worked an internship within the last year at Verizon corporate headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ. I interacted with all levels of employees from IT technicians to middle and executive management responsible for the wireless Enterprise and consumer side of the company’s operations.

The company is in a state of flux and apparently the wireless side of the company is launching a coup to take over the company which has resulted in a totally dis-functional company.

The wireless personnel are not knowledgeable about the other aspects of the business and they are taking it down quickly – intentionally or by sheer ignorance.

Operations are significantly understaffed after numerous layoff’s and the remaining employees are disgruntled, depressed, suspicious, lacking confidence and just waiting to hear they will be laid off. The executives are malicious, egotistical, sneaky, and seem to believe they are superior to the non-wireless side of the company. In my opinion, I don’t know how they could provide any level of support or service with the drama that is occurring there.

I am happy that I did intern at Verizon to have experienced the unethical behaviors and ignorance that can occur and how it impacts a company’s products, services and employees.

VERIZON MAY HAVE HID VITAL EVIDENCE THAT CONTAMITAED THEIR EMPLOYEES @ Verizon Building 140 West Street New York, NY

A week ago I received a CD in the mail with a letter, and I could not believe what I saw on this CD. There were a ton of pictures, reports, and a mountain of evidence (floor-by-floor) that was released on this CD. I was advised that only a hand full of people have this CD, and it was never meant to be released to the employees. The CD’s has Asbestos evidence after the 9/11 Terrorist attack documented at Verizon’s 140 West Street Building

The letter stated, “This CD is very important to many. I do not have the strength or guts you have to take Verizon for what they have done too many. I chose you, because I know you would do the right thing with it. I thank you for all that you have done for the abused employees at Verizon and others throughout this country. I thank you in advance!”

It is heartbreaking to know a company like Verizon has information like this and may have never informed their employees know the dangers of working at the building pre and post 911.

It has come to my attention that the levels of asbestos contamination at Verizon’s 140 West Street Building were documented in a report. THE REPORT WAS ONLY DISTRIBUTED TO A LIMITED AND SELECT GROUP OF VERZION’S UPPER MANAGEMENT. I have been told that a group of Verizon employees have died from cancers after being exposed to TOXINS at Verizon’s 140 West Street Building because they were not provided with the proper safety equipment and they did not have respirators to filter out the TOXINS they were breathing in. In addition other Verizon employees are having SERIOUS health issues (some are terminally ill).
One Verizon employee who contacted me has the following illnesses after being exposed to the TOXINS in Verizon’s 140 West Street building and at GROUND ZERO. Many others within that building may have had the same medical issues or additional ones as well because of the toxins within that building.

This employee was medically diagnosed with these illnesses and is disabled and in constant pain:
1. Degenerative spinal disc disease
2. Fibromyalgia
3. Peripheral neuropathy
4. PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
5. Panic attacks
6. Anxiety
7. Depression
8. Chronic insomnia
9. Chronic fatigue
10. Vertigo
11. GERD (Gastro esophageal reflux disease)
12. Lowered immune system (immune deficiency)
13. Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (bleeding disorder)

Another first responder was Mark DeBiase. A cell tower technician for AT&T Wireless, he was called in to set up emergency communication equipment at ground zero on Sept. 12. He spent a total of 16 hours there. A biopsy later revealed that Mark had interstitial lung disease, or ILD, which is caused when inhaled substances, like coal dust, severely scar the lung tissue. Mark was on a waiting list for a double lung transplant, but he steadily deteriorated, he died at age 42, leaving a wife and three young sons.

41-year-old Deborah Reeve, developed a serious cough just two years after the attacks and died of mesothelioma in 2004.

I have attached these links which further document the TOXINS and asbestos in the vicinity of GROUND ZERO and Verizon’s 140 West Street building.

If you happen to know anyone at the Verizon Building at 140 West Street in New York, NY – Please have them contact me, as I will be gathering a list of names. There will be more to come. This makes me sick, but it is expected of Verizon – because “Greed has no conscious.”

I am reaching to some contact that I have to ensure I can get this information to the right agencies to properly investigate Verizon as well as progressing on seeking justice for all these victims and their families.

To ensure protection of this CD for the victims, I made several copies just in case of malfunction.

As Verizon would say: Making Progress Every Day!

President Barack Obama
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northeast
Washington, DC. 20500

Ref: Request for a Workplace Bullying Meeting

Dear President Obama,

First I would like to say it is my complete honor to tell you “Congratulations” for winning another term in office. You are a true blessing to us all and I am so glad that I was alive to witness such greatness. President Obama, I wish you and your family so much happiness and success, as you all well deserve it. What you have done was you gave so many including me HOPE! Your win, was our win, and thank you for all your sacrifices, handwork and determination and we all love you for that.

I saw a statement by Meek Mill a rapper as he said it best, “Blaming Obama for this economy is like blaming a firefighter for a house catching on fire. He didn’t start it he’s just trying to fix it.” You’re doing a great job so do not worry. God has given you so much strength and character keep up the great work.

My name is Neal W. Dias from Swansea Massachusetts. A year ago I would have never thought that I would be writing The President of the United States, requested assistance for others in this Country in reference to “Workplace Bullying.” I would have never thought that thousands of people would be in contact and reached out to me, telling me their stories and asking for help. I would have never thought they would be telling me that I am their hero and providing me such support. I never thought that I would be speaking with politicians, side-by-side at the capital in New York trying to get support for Workplace Bullying laws to be enacted. I never knew my life would lead me down this road speaking at National Conferences, and asked to be on panels on radio / internet shows. My life altered so much but I was put in this position because God put in in my hands and knew I would get the job done.

Mr. President, in June of 2012 I wrote you a letter and stated that, I will write you when you are re-elected into office, and now that time has come. So now I am respectfully asking you for a meeting please.
You wrote me back on July 18, 2012 so I decided to reach out to you because I know you truly care about this Country, and “all” its people in it, no matter what race or political choices. I know you will listen and I also know you will help! I am writing you because I know you want to improve everything about this country and put us back on the books as the most productive and stable country in the world.

I know that you have, and continue to work extremely hard at trying to put people back to work, from this economic fallout that you never caused, but was put into. You have done a terrific job and within these next four years, this Country will see the results of what you put in place during your first term as it takes time.

As you know, when people are earning and income, supporting their families and being successful, they feel great about themselves and we as a nation will prosper. But Mr. President, even though people are working trying to do the right thing something else will often get in the way while working in Corporate America and that is my purpose for writing you once again.

“Workplace Bullying” is the problem and is a major epidemic all over this world, not just in our country. I know as I communicate with people from all over the world about this issue. I never knew anything about Workplace Bullying or even experienced it until I became a manager in February 2004 at Verizon. I never knew the magnitude if this issue and how it destroys so many lives. I never knew how bad this issues is until it became a major part of my life, and now I just cannot walk away knowing what I know now.

In my letter to you in June of 2012 (which will be sent with this letter), I gave you a picture of what happened to me. I was a great employee, worked to support my family, went to school at night earning two degrees. We sacrificed as a family, so we can have better things later in life. I eventually was hired by Verizon and climbed the ladder, loving the company, and what I did best. I knew this was a place that I would be at for the rest of my life. I was blessed as I was working at a place so many would love to be at. I started at $7.35 hour as a technician and worked another job and went to school as well. I was then promoted to management and I made an incredible income never having to worry about finances again. I was able to support my family and everything was perfect. I was awarded and recognized locally, regionally and nationally for all my hard work and success, but my values and morals that got in the way.

I saw and heard things that were beyond inappropriate and illegal. When I made a stand for others in protecting their rights and dignity, the abuse, retaliation, racism and complete hostile environment was redirected towards me. I endured a hostile work environment, was harassed, targeted; work sabotaged, racially discriminated against, blackballed and eventually was wrongfully terminated from Verizon. Today I am broke, on the verge of foreclosure, attorneys coming after me for unpaid bills and still fighting for justice for my family and others.
I witness the most hennas workplace bullying imaginable and found out it was an acceptable norm at Verizon and I knew not only should this poor behavior not exist, it also needed to stop immediately. After losing everything over these past few years, I had to do something to ensure no one had to go through what my family and I had to endure. So I became an advocate for “Workplace Bullying” and vow to change things in this country. Since then, I have listed to thousands of stories, cried on the phone with some, and spoke at several locations including at the capital in New York with politicians trying to make laws to stop workplace bullying. I have been a spokesperson at other events on workplace bullying. I have built a great relationship with the President of Workplace Bullying Institute (WBI) Dr. Gary Namie, who I will tell you about him shortly. I have consistently been reaching out to politicians asking them to look at a bill called the “Healthy Workplace Bill,” which will help us all.

So Mr. President why you, and why now?

You are the perfect team as “President and Vice President” to get this done and it is the perfect time to do it. Not
every Presidential team is appropriate, approachable and determined to do the right things but you are. This is why I so admire you and Vice President Biden. Together you both love, people, love this country and will do whatever it takes as long as it is for the best interest of all. Not only are you trying to get people employed with good paying jobs, your changing work cultures improving productivity in Corporate America and improving lives in each community across this country. You cannot imagine the heartbreaking stories and pain so many victims if this abuse is suffering each day. To get up, drive to work and feel sick to your stomach just thinking of what you are forced to face for a pay check is just too sad. Some companies feel as though because they pay you a salary, they have the right to abuse you. And with the economy the way it is, some are enduring increased threats and workplace bullying from some employers because the employers know these employees have no-where else to go. No one has a right to abuse anyone no matter whether they pay you or not.

Mr. President, so much is tied to Workplace Bullying and I cannot even get into it in full but many have no idea of the effects because it’s like a closet thing. If you speak against it, you’re an adult wimp, and if you speak against in you’re fired. In fact it takes complete courage and strength to fight against workplace bullies and not allowing others to be victimized as well.

Some associations to workplace bullying are: domestic violence, financial hardships, bankruptcies, divorces, deaths, strokes, heart attacks, workplace killings, suicides, workplace violence and ongoing abuse. There is a total mental and physical breakdown of good productive individuals and families. The same individuals that worked hard in life to become something, and workplace bullying destroyed them from the inside out. Enormous amount of medical cost associated to this like prescription drugs, therapy and counseling.

For the companies, there is loss of productivity, unhappy employees and lack of commitment to a company. How about the increased of absenteeism and short term disability which is directly related to emotional distress, costing the company millions to trillions over time. How about the increased of absenteeism and short term disability which is directly related to emotional distress, costing the company millions to trillions over time. Look at the endless amount money going out to attorneys tying up the judicial system for personal gain and financially crippling good families trying to fight a fight that they cannot afford.

We push our children to get good grades their whole lives. Then we spend a lot of money for them to go to college, then enter the workforce with great intensions but we never through we would have to prepare them for an environment beyond explainable. No one can prepare them for this abuse, but even worse they have no one to help them. This is the world were sending our children into and it can only get worse:
• A 2007 national survey by Zogby International and Workplace Institute found that:
• 37% of workers have experienced workplace bullying.
• 62% of employees who received complaints about workplace bullying either ignore the problem or made it worse.
• 64% of bullying targets eventually are pushed out of their jobs.
• 73% of workplace bullies are supervisors.

In Verizon alone, they admitted to us in Federal Depositions that they receive over 104,000 EEO complaints a year. This is almost 50% of their employees have unethical complaints. There is a major issue, and so many are suffering with no-where to turn for help.

So when we can fix workplace bullying, we can repair so much more in the process, we can help so many people. Your help to improving poor workplace cultures with our walls of this country will become another historic moment within you’re time. There are so many people waiting for someone to help, and you Mr. President are the one to motivate our legislators across this country to seriously look at this issue and make it a priority, I know you can!

Myths vs. Reality about the Healthy Workplace Bill:
• MYTH: The bill takes away the ability of employers to manage their workforce.
• REALITY: The bill enters the picture only when the bullying behaviors have become severe and harmful. It provides legal incentives for employers to sharply minimize their liability exposure by acting preventively and responsively toward bullying, and it reserves the right of employers to conduct evaluations and provide feedback and direction to their employees.

Mr. President there is so much to cover, so much for you to hear first-hand, and this is why I am requesting a meeting with you and Vice President Biden. I also will provide you with a short list of some very powerful victims and advocates that I have had the opportunity of meeting and working with as well. Their stories and work will astonish you, I promise. They are people like you and I who love this country and continue to fight like you, to improve everything thing about it. They are people like Senator Elizabeth Warren, who just does not quit for nothing especially when it is for the right reasons and look at what she has achieved as well.
I also want you so see a great person that I admire so much, his name is Dr. Gary Namie. I will provide you with a few links for you to view. He is a wonderful person with a huge heart who I not only met, but was invited by Dr. Gary Namie to speak at his National Workplace Bullying Press Conference in Washington DC at the Press Club October 15th of this year (link below). Dr. Gary Namie will be joining me for this meeting with you, if you will allow us the pleasure to meet. He is the reason that today, 27 states have already introduced the Healthy Workplace Bill and hopefully this year, it will become law. His work for the good of all is simply a blessing. He is someone you would love to meet. He will be the reason one day people will be able to wake up, go to work and come home happy having, not having dealt with abusers in the workplace. He will be the reason companies will improve their work cultures and he will be the reason for change in Corporate America for the long run.

We as a country need you, and we need you now! You have accomplished so much I don’t even have to remind you. Even when many other Presidents have feared to implement the National Health Care because it was considered political sabotage, you did not care. You did it for the ones who had no voice and you did it with the best intentions and I am proud of you. What most people do not realized, as they lost it in your message was that you did in in the memory of your mother. You did it because you witnessed first-hand what so many should not have to go through. How many people can say that at the death bed of their parents, they made a promise to do something with such a great magnitude like that, and actually accomplish it? I will tell you, no one but you! You are correct when you say, no one should be denied of any medical care or die fighting the insurance companies. Your passion as a child along combined with strong morals changed many lives forever. Can you imagine how many people will live because of you? How many people do not ever have to worry again, how many parents do not have to watch their children be denied of medical care or die because they could not afford the correct care or procedure to save them. I know as my wife battled cancer three times and once when I was not employed and because I lived in Massachusetts we had medical. Without the medical she would not have had the medications that she now has to live with forever. My daughter Sasha with a very rare illness would never have gotten the care she needs at Mass General Hospital or the medications that she also now lives on. Well what I am discussing with you is similar, as lives in Corporate America need to be saved as well, and you Mr. President are the one.
As we speak, there is a major problem in workplaces that has to be dealt with, and I know you the one to help. I have faith and a belief in you Mr. President and Vice President Biden that you both will do what is best to help this country battle this epidemic of workplace bullying. So many have been fighting for this cause, and so many have quit because of fatigue, roadblock and injustice, please don’t let their fight go unnoticed. I have children like you, and I want them to love what they do, not spend 9 years like me fighting for justice for a healthier workplace. My energy should have been focused on them, just as others as well.

With this letter I will provide you a list of items you can view:
• The letter I wrote you on June 2, 2012.
• The letter you Mr. President wrote me back on July 18, 2012.
• & my full story of just what happened to me at Verizon.

As the Healthy Workplace Bill is on the table in 27 states, I am in process of writing each politician, in every State asking to push it forward. I also will be contacting the other States that have not introduced the bill as well, asking them to review the bill in full to help their citizens.

If possible, I will also be requesting a public hearing with the U.S. Senate Committee Health, Education, Labor and Pension as they need to hear from me and others on these issues as well. The more we can bring it to the attention, the more we can improve our chances to getting the Healthy Workplace Bill passed into law with the help of others with influence. This can no longer be brushed aside; too many lives depend on this.
The healthy workplace law will not settle every issue but just like other laws we have, it does not stop everyone but it deters most from committing crimes.

I know your time is valuable, so whatever date and time you can put aside for us, we will appreciate it, and we will be there. This meeting with you is important and would be of such value.

By the way, I have a daughter by the name of Sasha as well. She is 21 years old, and she is also looking forward to meeting you, along with my family.

You once said: “Even when folks are hitting you over the head you can’t stop marching. Even when their turning the hoses on you – you can’t stop!” Now that so many are counting on me to help, I cannot stop now, so please help!

Mr. President, thank you for all that you do, and God Bless you and Our Country.

“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

o PLEASE, click on this link above, then get into you specific state. Once you are in the state of your choice, Click on to your state, and you will see the: “HWCE-Z Letter E-Mailing Tool,” will be right on that page. It will only take one minute as it will allow your state legislators know instantly that you are in support on this “Healthy Workplace Bill.”

Dear Legislator:

We need your help and it is URGENT! We are the employees all across this wonderful Country, and it’s time to focus your thoughts towards a destructive pattern called “Workplace Bullying.” Workplace Bullying is the problem and is a major epidemic all over our Country. I know as I communicate with thousands of them about this topic. I never knew anything about Workplace Bullying or even experienced it until I became a manager at Verizon Communications and I saw way too much. I never knew the magnitude of this issue, and how it destroys so many lives until I posted my story and received thousands in return. I never knew how bad Workplace Bullying was until it became a major part of my life, and now I just cannot walk away, knowing what I know now.

I saw and heard things that were beyond inappropriate and should be illegal while working at Verizon. When I made a stand for others in protecting their rights and dignity – the abuse, retaliation, racism and complete hostile environment was redirected towards me. I endured a hostile work environment, was harassed, targeted; work sabotaged, racially discriminated against, blackballed, ignored and eventually was wrongfully terminated from Verizon. I thought I was alone, but I am not!

http://justiceatverizon.wordpress.com/2012/05/05/bullying-at-verizon/
http://youtu.be/bid5DK97rq8

The current laws do not address Workplace Bullying/Abusive Conduct.
A 2007 national survey by Zogby International and Workplace Institute found that:
• 37% of workers have experienced workplace bullying.
• 62% of employees who received complaints about workplace bullying either ignore the problem or made it worse.
• 64% of bullying targets eventually are pushed out of their jobs.
• 73% of workplace bullies are supervisors.

The harm do to Workplace Bullying includes but is not limited to; stress-related diseases (cardiovascular, immunological, gastrointestinal), plus anxiety, clinical depression and PTSD. It also is related to, domestic violence, financial hardships, bankruptcies, divorces, deaths, strokes, heart attacks, workplace killings, suicides, workplace violence and ongoing abuse. There is a total mental and physical breakdown of good productive individuals and families. The same individuals that worked hard in life to become something, and workplace bullying destroyed them from the inside out. Enormous amount of medical cost associated to this like prescription drugs, therapy /counseling and etc.
http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2852108.shtml?cat=504

For the companies, there is loss of so much including productivity, unhappy employees and lack of commitment to a company. How about the increased of absenteeism and short term disability which is directly related to emotional distress, turnover and retraining, costing the company millions to trillions over time not including useless legal obligations.

Without laws, employers can legally ignore this abusive conduct and many sweep it under the rug. Many employers are subjecting their employees to continuous abusive, malicious and health harming workplaces.

Please help to adopt the “Healthy Workplace Bill.” In 2013 your State may have (refer below to link to see your State) an “Anti-Bullying Healthy Workplace Bill” on your table. This Bill will create stability in Corporate America and improve lives. We need your help to pass this bill. If you are in a State that does not have the Bill, please lead your state in sponsoring it.

Hello Everyone,

I created a petition to President Barack Obama, all of The United States House of Representatives, and the whole U.S. Senate in reference to “The Healthy Workplace Bill.”

As they will be coming into session in January we need them to focus on creating stability in Corporate America and that means implementing a Healthy Workplace Law. Many across this Country are severely hurting and you can stop the pain, buy voting in a “Healthy Workplace Bill” in 2013. Let’s lead this World, and show them we will no longer tolerate abusive acts in our Workplaces!”

Please click on the Petition Link below, then send it to all your friends, family, to your local and National newspapers, post it everywhere! We have to let all our politicians know Workplace Bullying has to end. We need tens of thousands to sign this urgent petition – so please help!

Verizon – Targets Woman over 40

The proof never stop coming to my attention. I will be releasing “proof” soon about how Verizon has targeted wrongfully terminate woman over 40 years of age that work for Verizon.

I also will be putting together a detailed outlined letter with proof to the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and a press release to the world about the neglect Verizon has to their plant (the telephone lines). Verizon has lied to customers and the PUC and I will request an investigation and allow the public access to the inside of Verizon.

There will be Verizon locations that I have proof that are full of harmful things to the employees’ health wise.
In 2013 Verizon will have to answer to a lot or people (customers, media, and the Government). For too long Verizon had done a lot of damage too many customers and employees, and there will be no end in sight to what I will share to the world about Verizon. 2013 will be the year the public and employees seek justice against Verizon for all they took from them.

I have a lot more coming in moderation.
